California Breathing has posted their analysis of asthma mortality data by racial/ethnic subgroups. Asthma disparities among the major racial/ethnic groups are well documented, but information on asthma outcomes for subgroups are seldom reported. By looking at Latino and Asian/Pacific Islander subgroups, this analysis examines the variation in asthma mortality rates that is obscured when the smaller groups are combined into broad categories.
