The Environmental Health division, in collaboration with the Sonoma County Asthma Coalition, developed Healthy Home web pages to provide information about how to maintain safe and healthy homes, how to identify indoor air quality problems in homes, when and how to file complaints, with links to information about asthma and indoor air quality, resources for landlords and tenants, and more.  The “Healthy Homes” model promoted by the National Center for Healthy Housing (NCHH) is a concept that promotes safe, decent, and sanitary housing as a means for preventing disease and injury.
