U.S. EPA Offering Materials for Asthma Awareness Month

In advance of May’s Asthma Awareness Month, the United States Environmental Protection Agency has developed a collection of no-cost, downloadable materials for all types of events and audiences. These materials include brochures, activity books, posters, and videos. While planning your event, take a look at EPA’s Event Planning Kit to learn about ways to engage your community and build interest in Asthma Awareness Month. The Kit will help you promote your event information online and through local media and publications. It will also guide you in how to target key audiences and encourage participation at your event. All of these resources are available for download at http://www.epa.gov/asthma/awm/index.html. Another place to find hundreds of educational and outreach materials is at http://asthmacommunitynetwork.org/. Just click on the Resource Bank.
