RAMP has
three workgroups -- Environment, Schools, and Clinical -- that focus
on regional activities.
The RAMP Environment
Committee focuses on reducing environmental triggers of asthma,
particularly in disproportionately impacted communities. Current activities
focus on diesel reduction, with participation in the Ditching Dirty
Diesel Collaborative. RAMP is also interested in work with housing and
the built environment. For more information on this committee, please
contact Joel Ervice at 510-302-3316 or by email [joel at rampasthma
dot org].
The RAMP Schools
Committee focuses on education for staff and students, improving
indoor air quality in schools, and establishing management and support
systems for students with asthma. Among their diverse activities, the
Schools Committee hosts an annual regional round table dialogue, bringing
people together from across the region to discuss strategies and share
best practices. For more information on this committee, please contact
Kate Lorenzen at 510-302-3318 or by email [kate at rampasthma dot org].
The RAMP Clinical
Committee focuses on connecting clinicians to a public health framework
for addressing asthma. RAMP's unique contribution is to connect providers
with each other as well as with tools, best practices, coalitions, and
advocacy opportunities. For more information on this committee, please
contact Anne Kelsey Lamb at 510-302-3317 or by email [anne at rampasthma
dot org].
