Chronic Disease Indicators Data for States Available from the CDC
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has released its Chronic Disease Indicators (CDI) Data for individual states. The resource provides “health centers with access to the most relevant, up-to-date, and uniformly defined chronic disease surveillance data for the state level.” The data uses multiple data sources to collect information on 18 topic groups, including asthma as well as arthritis, cancer, cardiovascular disease, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, diabetes, oral health, and tobacco.
