CDC Releases Strategies for Addressing Asthma in Schools

The Center for Disease Control and Prevention’s National Asthma Control Program has released its Strategies for Addressing Asthma in Schools, a compilation of resources to assist school personnel with planning or maintaining an asthma management program. The goal of the guide is to provide staff in state health departments and others interested in asthma friendly schools information on how to tailor each program to the community’s context and culture, and evaluate the outcomes to it is relevant, effective, and reaching the students experiencing asthma.
