The Centers for Disease Control currently has a funding opportunity for EXHALE, a comprehensive public health approach to asthma control through evidence-based interventions. The purpose of the award is to improve the reach, quality, effectiveness, and sustainability of asthma control services and to reduce asthma morbidity, mortality, and disparities by implementing evidence-based strategies across multiple sectors.

Applications are open now, and the type of eligible applicants is unrestricted. Awards have a floor of $100,000 and ceiling of $800,000, and a total of $70,000,000 is available. It is expected 25 grants will be awarded. The closing date for applications is Friday, May 31st, at 11:59pm Eastern Time.
