Webinars: EPA Hosts Summer Webinars Focused on Delivering In-Home Asthma Environmental Interventions; 7/23 & 7/30

The Environmental Protection Agency’s Asthma Community Network is hosting a Summer Webinar Series focused on delivering in-home asthma environmental interventions in a variety of sessions. Both hour-long webinars will also be followed by a 30-minute question and answer session in the AsthmaCommunityNetwork.org Discussion Forum.

The first webinar will take place Tuesday, July 23rd, from 12:00pm – 1:00pm Pacific Time, and is titled “Opportunities for In-Home Asthma Care in Native Communities: A Northwest Initiative and Tribal Pilot Project.”  EPA Region 10, Headwater People Consulting, and the Indian Health Service’s Yakama Field Office will speak about the lessons learned from a 5-year initiative working to build partnerships with tribes, increase capacity, and explore funding for asthma in-home environmental interventions for Native children.
