Funding Opportunity: EPA Launches Environmental Justice Collaborative Problem-Solving Cooperative Agreement Program; Application Deadline 2/7/2020

The Environmental Protection Agency’s Office of Environmental Justice has launched an Environmental Justice Collaborative Problem-Solving Cooperative Agreement Program to provide funding to support community-based organizations in their efforts to collaborate and partner with local stakeholders. The goal is to work with local businesses and industry, local government, medical service providers, and academia to develop and implement community-based solutions to address environmental and public health issues for underserved communities. Projects are required to use the Environmental Justice Collaborative Problem-Solving Model to support their efforts. All applying organizations should have a direct connection to the underserved community impacted by the environmental harms detailed in the workplan.

Applications are now open. The deadline to apply is February 7, 2020.
