Employment Opportunities with the American Lung Association

The American Lung Association currently has two positions open focusing on air quality and climate change.

The Clean Air Advocacy Manager position is designed to focus on improving lung health and preventing lung disease through research, education, and advocacy. Based in Sacramento, CA, the role will deepen the public education and advocacy work for the Lung Association, as well as expand the role of health professionals in advocacy and communications.

The Health Engagement Manager position will assist in coordinating the American Lung Association’s Health Professionals for Clean Air and Climate Action network. The role is responsible for building health professional engagement in federal and state level clean air and climate advocacy work. It will also help support patient engagement outreach in the Western US. The role is based in the Bay Area.
