The United States Environmental Protection Agency has announced the 2023 Clean School Bus Grant Program. Under the program, $400 million in grant funding will be able for eligible applicants nationwide for the purchase of zero-emission school buses, clean school buses, and zero-emission charging infrastructure. Applications replacing buses serving high-need local education agencies, rural areas, Tribal school districts, and public-school districts receiving basic support payments will be prioritized. Applications are due by Tuesday, August 22, 2023.
