SOLANO ASTHMA COALITION
Mission Statement
The mission of the Solano Asthma Coalition is to reduce the burden of asthma and to improve the quality of life for people with asthma and their families in Solano County. We are targeting populations most at risk for poor health outcomes and those experiencing health inequities. Through collaboration with health care providers, policymakers, educators, and community members we intend to raise awareness of people with asthma and their families about the goals of asthma treatment and strategies to control asthma. We also seek to change the institutional, environmental, cultural, and individual factors that influence the incidence, prevalence, and severity of asthma in Solano County.
