RAND Report: Cost and Health Consequences of Air Pollution in California
According to a new study by the Rand Corporation, the air in California is making people sick to the tune of close to 200 million dollars in hospital expenses. Researchers at the Santa Monica, CA nonprofit policy research institute say the pollution is driving up health care costs and insurance premiums.
