Report Illustrates How Better Use of Existing Programs Could Yield Significant Improvements in Childhood Asthma
A new report from George Washington University School of Public Health, “Changing pO2licy: The Elements for Improving Childhood Asthma Outcomes”, focuses on the public health significance of childhood asthma and what is known about quality asthma care, as well as recommendations to improve outcomes for children with asthma. Study authors emphasize the importance of having access to quality health care, implementing existing evidence-based healthcare programs and tools to address disparities in care, and to reduce asthma triggers in the home and communities.
