New Study Examines Effects of Traffic-Related Air Pollution on Respiratory Health

A new study by the Epidemiology Unit, Regional Agency of Public Health of Tuscany and published in the March 1st edition of the journal Environmental Health shows that “traffic related air pollution is a potential risk factor for human respiratory health.” Results showed “the potential effects of traffic-related air pollution on respiratory health status, including lung function impairment. It also highlights the added value of GIS in environmental health research.”  To read the abstract click here.
