RAMP and Community Action to Fight Asthma launch media campaign for World Asthma Month, 2008

In order to bring more attention to asthma and ways in which it can be managed and prevented, RAMP and Community Action to Fight Asthma (CAFA), with the support of The California Endowment, launched a media campaign for World Asthma Month in May, 2008. As part of the campaign – which highlighted asthma triggers like mold and air pollution — several billboards and newspaper ads were purchased in the Sacramento area to raise the profile of asthma, particularly among policymakers.
