RAMP is working in partnership with UCSF to enroll asthma providers in a provider education and training opportunity. UCSF received funding from the National Asthma Control Initiative (NACI) to implement a train-the-trainers project and we are looking to enroll asthma champions and/or provider sites throughout the Bay Area to participate. The asthma champions and/or provider sites will participate in a web-based train-the-trainer session and then work with asthma experts from UCSF to co-lead a one hour lunch presentation to the other providers at their site. We are looking to enroll mainly providers at primary care offices and who serve children with asthma, but there is some flexibility in enrollment as well as how the program can be tailored and delivered to meet the specific needs of a particular office. If this might be of interest but you’re unsure if your site is the right fit, please feel free to contact Jessica at RAMP at 510-302-3312 or via e-mail at jessica@rampasthma.org to further discuss participation. Click here for additional information.
