RAMP hosts an annual roundtable convening on addressing asthma in schools, bringing together school nurses, public health departments, asthma coalitions, and other agencies to share and exchange strategies. The purpose of the roundtable is to respond to the interests of many asthma coalitions and advocates in the Bay Area that have been working to address asthma in schools. RAMP’s 8^th Annual Roundtable Discussion on Addressing Asthma in Schools

On April 14, 2011, RAMP hosted its 8^th Annual Roundtable Discussion on Addressing Asthma in Schools, bringing together school nurses, public health departments, asthma coalitions, and other agencies to share and exchange strategies. We had another great turnout, with 35 attendees. Through presentations and group discussion, we focused on available resources and school needs, asthma-related truancy, and implementing Tools for Schools.
